Lenox Hill Hospital

Lenox Hill Hospital, located on Manhattan Island earned a international reputation for innovative medical and surgical treatments: performed the first angiocardiogram in 1938, the first coronary angioplasty in 1978, established the first Lyme Disease Center in 1989 and inserted one of first coronary stents in 1991. Over the years, due to lack of promotion and visibility, the hospital was not getting the charitable donations and bequests it once did.

On a low budget, the project required a local ad, poster and transit campaign to remind the public of the hospitals excellent doctors and reputation. Within 6 months the hospital reported an increase in the public’s including the hospital in their estate plans; naming Lenox Hill as a beneficiary in their IRA or Retirement Plans, as well as an up-tick in donations.
